Stay beside Keyhole Reservoir

Pine Haven places water recreation at the center of the trip while keeping Devils Tower and I-90 within reach.

Choose Pine Haven when fishing, boating or camping matters as much as the monument. It is the small-town base for Keyhole Reservoir.

Use Keyhole as the main attraction

Keyhole State Park offers camping, cabins, boating, paddling, fishing, swimming and shoreline time. The park is distributed around the reservoir, so identify the campground, marina or day-use area before arriving.

Reservations and seasonal services vary. Check Wyoming State Parks for current details.

Connect to Moorcroft and I-90

Moorcroft provides groceries, fuel, restaurants, lodging and interstate access. It also adds the West Texas Trail Museum to a reservoir-focused stay.

Make Devils Tower a separate day

Drive from Pine Haven through Moorcroft and north toward Devils Tower. An early departure makes the monument easier and leaves the afternoon open for the reservoir.

Best forAnglers, boaters, campers and families who want a water-based home base instead of staying directly outside the monument.
