Take the back road to Aladdin

Tiny in population and big on road-trip character, Aladdin is the kind of stop you remember because you almost drove past it.

Aladdin sits on Wyoming Highway 24/111 between Hulett and Belle Fourche, making it an easy detour—or the reason to choose the slower road.

The general store

The Aladdin General Store is the landmark: a historic mercantile that has served travelers and the surrounding ranch country for generations. Check current hours before making it your only planned stop.

Make it part of a loop

Pair Aladdin with Hulett, Devils Tower and Belle Fourche for a scenic regional loop. The route rolls through ranchland and the western edge of the Black Hills.

Slow-road rules

Fuel up in a larger town, watch for wildlife and keep your camera stops off the travel lane. Services are sparse, which is part of the experience and part of the planning.

Best forRoad-trip travelers who value historic stores, quiet highways and places that still feel pleasantly small.
